Abstract

The aim of our study was to determine the effectiveness of treatment using physical therapy in cases of cerebral palsy, and to assess the impact of proper and targeted physical therapy on functional independence. Initially, we examined each child’s movements to identify the influence of early and regular physical therapy on the gross motor function of children with cerebral palsy, based on the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) scale. The significance of the study's findings lies in the importance of involving children in treatment from an early age and adequately managing the development of abnormal movement patterns from the outset. It was determined that targeted and goal-oriented physical therapy contributes to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities
