Abstract

A secondary hygienic analysis of water quality monitoring data for the years 2020-2023 was conducted to identify trends in the dynamics of state control and monitoring of drinking water quality in various regions of Georgia. A positive trend was revealed in monitoring, characterized by a steady increase in the number of water samples both nationwide and in western and eastern regions of Georgia (excluding the capital), with a particular advantage in western Georgia. The proportion of water quality violations identified in the samples was calculated by year and region. It was determined that the main type of non-compliance with the technical regulations for water quality was microbiological violations. Relevant recommendations have been developed.
