Abstract

The paper aims to present the peculiarities revealed by the contrastive analysis of functioning of some pragmatic markers in English and Georgian political interviews. Namely, evaluation and manner-of-speaking markers were analyzed which belong to the class of commentary markers. The conclusions are drawn based on the obtained data.
