Culture and living aspects of the North Caucasians in the XIII-XV centuries

Abstract

In XIII-XV centuries, the culture, and moments of existence of North Caucasus people stands out with diversity and difference. For this period the largest settlements had been Towns: Majar, Tyumen, Upper Julat, Lower Julat etc. When studying the mentioned issue, special emphasis is placed on living conditions, means of transportation, tools, and clothing culture. Some materials obtained as a result of archeological excavation also give us certain idea about this issue.

It should be noted that, there is a scares data on the study of the family and public life of the North Caucasus people. However,  relatively small but fragmentary data allows us to form a certain idea about the household aspects of the study period. Relatively clear picture is given on the bases of existing materials about the population living in the west of North Caucasus, that gives us an opportunity to make conclusion about traditional moments of creating a family in this area and showing respect to him as well as even sacrificing oneself to a guest in some cases.

   In addition, worth paying attention traditions of family cohabitation and burial, which were clearly different in different parts of the North Caucasus.
