Georgian Geographical Journal (GGJ) is peer-reviewed and Open Access journal. It aims to strengthen the academic exchange of results in all fields of Natural and Human Geography research between Georgia, the Caucasus region, and other neighboring countries. Journal reflects the latest geographical research achievements, related to the spatial patterns at the Earth's surface, as well as global issues and regional comparisons.
GGJ recognises and follows worldwide publishing norms and best practices. It adheres to the internationally accepted values and practices of the Publishing Ethics Committee's (COPE) basic principles.

All manuscripts must be submitted online, and the peer review process is entirely managed electronically. Upon acceptance, articles will be published in a formatted PDF along with their final citation.
GGJ publishes two issues a year, in June and December.
