Synthesis of Semi-derivatives of Hesperidin

Abstract

New hesperidin derivatives were synthesized. By condensation of hesperidin with different amino acids (alanine, valine, leucine) the corresponding N-substituted imines are obtained, and by replacing the carbonyl group with hydrazines, the corresponding hydrazone. The use of ultrasonic irradiation in the synthesis of semi-derivatives reduces reaction time and increases the yield of target products.
