Abstract
Interesting and rare case of emergency abdominal surgery is presented. Three abdominal pathologies in one patient during 10 days are described: acute phlegmonous cholecystitis (treated laparoscopically), intestinal ileus due to adenocarcinoma of splenic flexure combined with diverticulosis of small bowel.78 years old female admitted in clinic as emergency case complaining on pain in right upper quadrant. US revealed acute calculous cholecystitis with pericholecystic fluid collection. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy had been performed and patient was discharged in 3 postoperative days. She admitted after 7 days from discharge due to intestinal ileus. Early adhesive ileus was suspected and operated urgently. The reason of ileus was adenocarcinoma of splenic flexure of large dowel. In addition, multiple diverticulosis of small bowel had been found. Left sided hemicolectomy performed with single lumen colostomy. Patient was discharged without further complications.
