The work is devoted to the most important problems of world globalization, in particular, to the discussion of the modern, positive and negative sides of globalization and the need to take these factors into account in the economy.
The article also discusses the essence of the process of international capital movement and its main forms. A large place is devoted to internal and external factors affecting the effective allocation of capital.
The work highlights the characteristic trends of international investment, such as: an increase in the scale of mergers and acquisitions of credit organizations; institutional changes caused by the integration of financial institutions; strengthening the role of developed countries in the development of the world investment market; objective growth of portfolio investments; the formation of international institutions of global status, etc.
In general, the fundamental changes in the world investment market, the ongoing shifts in its structure are due to the acceleration of the process of financial globalization and the pace of scientific and technical development.
Therefore, we consider it appropriate to take globalization factors into account in the processes of both capital outflow and foreign investment inflow from the country. Particular attention should be paid to the main forms of investment abroad by developed countries.
