Condition of “Digitation” of Asia Region and Place of Georgia in it

In the article - „Condition of “digitation” of Asia region and place of Georgia in it”, as it is shown by the title itself, here is spoken on digital transformation of countries in Asia region.
Research has shown that in 2020-2022 from 39 countries 22 (Republic of Korea, Singapore, Arabian Emirates, Japan, Israel, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, China, Turkmenistan, Oman, Malaysia, Bahrein, Thailand, Georgia, Kuwait, Armenia, Brunei, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Indonesia and Qatar) appeared in the list of countries with the highest index of digitation. Hence 4 countries appeared to have 90-95% level of “digitation”, 5 countries- 81-89% level, and 13 countries - 71-80% level.
Georgia is included in this third group of “digitation”. In 2022 its EGDI = 0,7501, i.e. compared to 2020 is increased by 0,0327 (growth 4,5%).
In 2022, 4 countries of Asia region (Republic of Korea, Singapore, Arabian Emirates and Japan) were included among leading countries worldwide by digitation index. Hence Republic of Korea occupies 3rd place in the world, Singapore – 12th place, Arabian Emirates – 13th, Japan -14th.
