Abstract

In the article - "Management of a multinational team of personnel as a challenge of globalization" – it is discussed the division of world cultures into clusters by scientists - Trompenares and Hofstede two to three decades ago -  in different aspects and the need to know it for company managers in today's conditions. The author argues that this is necessary because people of different ethnic groups behave differently because of their national culture, and in case of working with them in one collective, we should know how to treat them in order not to create problems. The author notes that this problem does not exist in Georgia today, but the number of immigrants, therefore, for labor employment, is gradually increasing, which will create problems for companies in the future. The author gives advice to the managers of Georgian companies that they should start preparing "to work with them" right now. This is especially true for people of Asian and African origin, because they mostly come to Georgia for employment. Therefore, it is necessary to study their cultural values and have a perfect knowledge of the international colloquial language - English.
