Abstract

SUMMARY

            The government of Georgia has developed Universal Health Insurance Program since 2013. In early stages of Program development, it is important to make systematic assessment of its strengths and weaknesses and provide recommendations. The goal of the article is the Analysis of country's health polices from the service provider’s point of view, the survey shows that the vast majority of respondents positively assess the development of the program, its goals and objectives. According to them, the program has increased the population's access to medical services, reduced the catastrophic costs of receiving health services and increased the economic security of the population. Providers highlighted that biggest weakness of the program is its high cost and management problems because the program development was going at a fast pace.
