Language plays a crucial role in business communication. It serves as the foundation for effective collaboration and relationship-building. In today's globalized world, and therefore, the economy, the strategic use of English language promotes international cooperation in the field of business and strengthens intercultural relations. Business English is characterized by the use of formal, professional terminology, yet sometimes speaking directly can sound rude or harsh. That is why the process of speech euphemization i.e. the use of embellished words, takes place. The purpose of the given paper is to study the euphemistic words and expressions that are common in the business English language. In this study attempted to determine which euphemisms are commonly used in the field of business and what their functions are. It should be emphasized that clear and precise communication is of crucial importance in business relations. Therefore, it is recommended to maintain a balanced use of euphemisms in order to avoid ambiguity or misinterpretation that can hinder effective communication. In conclusion, we believe that the study of euphemisms and the determination of their linguistic functions in the business context is necessary and relevant for both linguists and business professionals. This study mainly employs the method of linguistic observation and description. The linguistic data for the research were obtained from English language articles and interviews.
