Abstract
The current significant socio-economic changes in Georgia particularly influenced the health care system and the pharmaceutical activities as well. The new understanding of the pharmacist’s professional self-consciousness causes the changes of the employer’s requirements, increased the functions and responsibilities of a pharmacist. The aim of the study is to search how the labor rights and the labor legal forms of compensation are protected in pharmacies. Based on the survey results, we can conclude, that according to the working contract of pharmacists in the Georgian pharmaceutical companies the rights of the employees are often violated, their working hours are overloaded, and in many cases employers don’t pay to employees for the overtime work.
