State Protectionism in the Regional Agricultural Development Strategy

Abstract

The current polarized development policy implemented by the government focuses on identifying and nurturing regional prospects while concentrating resources to strengthen essential competitiveness. In this context, there is an urgent need to develop a new strategy for the socio-economic advancement of the country's regions, establishing necessary prerequisites for sustainable economic growth. This initiative is in line with today's challenges and the goals of inclusive development. It has been determined that tackling the issues, objectives, and directions of the region's strategic development is achievable when financial and administrative resources are maximally focused on key concerns, profits from economic entities are fully reinvested, and budget funds are directed toward priority national projects within the region.
