Abstract

Sports is an integral element of the economy, that's why it has become a very popular and profitable business. In the work, the author analyzes the penetration of market laws in the field of sports and emphasizes the positive changes in the sports life of the country, which is confirmed by the hosting of important international sports competitions. In this regard, Georgia has recently seriously strengthened its position as the organizer of the largest international competitions. That is why our country was promised to hold such a grand sports event as the European Youth Winter Olympic Festival by 2025. This large-scale competition will have complex effects, namely, social, economic and marketing: the country will get a lot of profit; Georgian athletes will have an orderly infrastructure, winter sports will be revived, winter tourism will be promoted, new jobs will be created; Along with professional sports, mass sports will also use these bases; The population will have an alternative way of recreation.
