გარეგანი დაკრიორინოცისტოსტომია DCR, საცრემლე გზების სტენოზის ტრადიციული მკურნალობის მეთოდს წარმოადგენს. მეთოდი საკმაოდ ტრავმულია და პაციენტთა 1-25% სხვადასხვა გართულებები აღენიშნებათ. მკურნალობის ალტერნატიულ მეთოდს წარმოადგენს ენდონაზალური ენდოსკოპიური DCR.
