მიმოხილვით სტატიაში მოცემულია საკვერცხის ფუნქციური კისტების ფორმირების, გავრცელების, რეგრესიის და მართვის ტაქტიკის ასპექტები. განსაკუთრებული ყურადღება ექცევა ფუნქციური კისტების ჰორმონალური თერაპიის არაეფექტურობას. განისაზღვრა ლოდინის ტაქტიკის უპირატესობები აშშ-ს კონტროლის ქვეშ. განიხილება ფოლიკულური კისტის ფორმირება დიდროგესტერონის გამოყენების დროს.
