Abstract

This review aims to systematically evaluate the diagnostic performance, accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of minimally and noninvasive peripheral biomarkers for detecting α-synuclein in Parkinson’s disease. It aims to evaluate these peripheral approaches as viable, patient-friendly alternatives to CSF analysis.
