Abstract

This article examines the temperature and humidity conditions of a thermally insulated building envelope when a thermal insulation layer is placed both internally and externally. The amount of moisture condensing in the building envelope during water vapor diffusion and its harmful effects on both the structure itself and the sanitary and hygienic conditions of the premises are determined. Recommended conditions for removing (evaporating) condensate from building envelopes are presented.
